NATHAN AYERS, Dunbar: He ran for 33 yards and four touchdowns to lead his team to a 34-25 victory over Forestville in a Class 1A playoff game.

JOSEPH BLACKWELL, Arundel: The running back ran for 132 yards and a score in an 18-6 victory over Annapolis in a Class 4A playoff game.

NCK BONHAG, River Hill: He scored twice on 10-yard runs in a 70-0 victory over J.M. Bennett in a Class 3A playoff game.

ADAM BROOKHART, River Hill: He returned an interceptions 75 yards for a touchdown in a 70-0 victory over J.M. Bennett in a Class 3A playoff game.

BILLY COSH, Arundel: The Kansas State-bound quarterback threw for 112 yards and two scores in an 18-6 victory over Annapolis in a Class 4A playoff game.

ZACH DANCEL, Good Counsel: The quarterback threw for 112 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another in a 35-6 victory over Bishop McNamara in the semifinals of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament.

EPE HENRIQUES, Joppatowne: He ran for 292 yards and four scores in a 49-30 win over Bohemia Manor in a Class 1A playoff game.

JOE KIRBY, Kent Island: He ran for 146 yards and a score on just 13 carries in a 35-0 win over North Caroline in a Class 2A playoff game.

DYLAN MAY, Catoctin: he threw for 141 yards and a pair of scores in a 56-0 victory over New Town in a Class 1A playoff game.

BOBBY PARTILLA, Arundel: The linebacker made two tackles for losses en route to finishing with 13 stops in an 18-6 win over Annapolis in a Class 4A playoff game.

SCOTT SHARIK, Archbishop Spalding: His 12-yard touchdown run in the third quarter proved to be the winning score in his team’s 12-0 victory over previously undefeated Boys’ Latin in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference title game.

IVAN TAGHOE, Paint Branch: He made nine receptions for 102 yards in an 18-7 victory over Whitman in a Class 4A playoff game.

ZACH WALLER, Archbishop Spalding: He returned a fumble 38 yards for a touchdown in his team’s 12-0 victory over previously undefeated Boys’ Latin in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference title game.

DAKOTA WELSH, Fort Hill: He ran for 123 yards and a pair of scores in a 45-0 victory over Smithsburg in a Class 1A playoff game.

WILLIE WILLIAMS, Hereford: He ran for 130 yards and a score in a 30-0 victory over North Harford in a Class 3A playoff game.

DEONTA WINSTON, Patterson: He ran for 141 yards and a pair of scores in a 37-0 win over Woodlawn in a Class 4A playoff game.

ZACK ZWINAK, Linganore: The Penn State-bound fullback ran for 327 yards and two scores in a 33-20 victory over Damascus in a Class 3A playoff game.

NATHAN FRANTZ, Hereford: His goal in penalty kicks proved to be the difference in a 4-3 victory in penalty kicks over Atholton in a Class 3A semifinal.

BRANDON HANGER, Broadneck: He scored the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Leonardtown in the championship game of the Class 4A East Region Tournament title.

MIKE WARNS, Hereford: He allowed just three penalty kick goal after shutting out Atholton for 100 minutes to lead his team to a victory and a berth in the Class 3A final.

MADISON CYR, Winters Mill: She scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over defending state champion Glenelg in the semifinals of the Class 2A state tournament.

LAREL ROGERS, South River: She scored two goals in a 3-2 victory over Arundel to claim the Class 4A East Region Tournament title.

HEATHER SUMMERS, Fallston: She scored the game’s only goal to lead her team to a 1-0 victory over Eastern Tech in a Class 2A state semifinal.

FIELD HOCKEY

JACLYN ANSPACH, Severna Park: She scored a goal and assisted on another to lead her team to a 2-1 victory over Westminster to claim the Class 4A state title. It was the Falcons’ state-record 19th championship, and their fifth straight.

BRITTANY BARR, Century: The goalie posted her 11th shutout of the season when the Knights blanked Glenelg, 2-0, in the semifinals of the Class 2A state tournament.

TAYLOR CUMMINS, Hereford: She scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Blake to claim the Class 3A state title.

TAYLOR WEST, Pocomoke: She scored three goals to lead his team to a 5-1 victory over Bohemia Manor to win the Class 1A state title. It was the school’s seventh straight crown and 17th overall.

LAUREN BOSSE, Towson: She posted 10 kills and four blocks in a 25-18, 25-12, 25-10 victory over Catonsville in the semifinals of the Class 3A North Region Tournament.

LIZ BROWN, Centennial: She posted four kills to help lead her team to a 25-6, 25-19, 25-14 victory over Stephen Decatur in the semifinals of the Class 3A East Region Tournament.

SAMANTHA HENKE, Severna Park: She recorded 10 digs, 7 kills and a pair of aces to lead her team to a 25-7, 25-17, 25-16 victory over South River in the semifinals of the Class 4A East Region Tournament.

SARAH OAKLEY, River Hill: She had 11 kills and a pair of aces to lead the Hawks to a 25-6, 25-22, 25-10 win over Wilde Lake in the semifinals of the Class 3A East Region Tournament.

KOURTNEY SALVAROLA, Broadneck: She posted 12 digs and 11 kills to lead the Bruins to a 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23 victory over Leonardtown in the semifinals of the Class 4A East Region Tournament.
